Non DC Resident 2026 Mid-Atlantic Review Submission
Ends on
The editors of The Mid-Atlantic Review invite writers that reside outside of the Washington, D.C. area to submit poems for publication using this portal. There is a $3 dollar fee for submission to The Mid-Atlantic Review by non-DC-residents.
Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis, generally within three months of submission.
Submissions must include:
- Name of the poet
- Address of the poet
- Email of the poet
- Two to four poems
- Bio of the poet
Thanks to support from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, submission to The Review is free for D.C. residents. All others are to submit using this form, which requires a $3 submission fee.
We invite poets from historically-disincluded demographics, including Black, Indigenous, Native American, and AAPI writers, to submit work using the free, "DC resident" form available here. If you are a non-DC resident using that form, please note the reason for accessing that submission form in your submission or it will not be considered.
Review of submissions in 2026 is led by a different editor each month. To read the bios of current editors and guest editors, check out the 2026 editor announcement on the Day Eight website here.
