All high school students attending an Arlington County public high school and/or living in Arlington County are invited to submit up to three poems for inclusion in the Arlington Young Poets Anthology, to be published spring 2023.

The anthology will focus on themes of struggle and resilience, but poems on all topics and themes are welcome.

We are particularly interested in representing a wide diversity of voices from across the county. Writers of all identities and backgrounds are welcome--BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent writers are encouraged to submit.

Submissions must include:

  1. The full name of the poet
  2. The address of the poet
  3. Email address of the poet
  4. Two to four poems

Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis, generally within two months of submission.
